This Midterm Election offers us a chance to start the process of turning things around in this Country.  And here in Southern California, we have an opportunity to flip a number of Republican Congressional seats.  But it isn't enough to elect Democrats if those Democrats are bought and paid for by corporate interests like the Charter Schools, the Petroleum giants and the Insurance and Pharmaceutical companies.  That's why the June 5th Primary is so important.  We have a chance to make sure that if a Democrat goes to the November Run-off, that Democrat will be an actual Progressive who will put the needs of their constituents ahead of those of their donors. 

 

One of the most important races is for US Senate.  Dianne Feinstein votes with Donald Trump over 30% of the time.  Only Joe Manchin (WV) and Heidi Heitcamp (ND) are Democrats who are more supportive of the Republicans.  If we lived in one of those states, we could be satisfied with Feinstein, but Blue California can do a lot better, which is why I'm urging people to vote for President Pro-Tem of the Senate, Kevin De León.  While Dianne Feinstein is giving speeches urging people to be patient with the President, De León is crafting legislation to protect California from his destructive agenda.
